AES LED Lighting expands with two new warning lights: the DWL180A and DWL3A. Designed to meet different vehicle installation needs, both combine compact designs with effective warning output. The DWL180A provides 180-degree light coverage for improved visibility from multiple angles, while the three-LED DWL3A delivers a bright warning output in a compact housing. Together, they give vehicle converters and installers more options when choosing the right warning light for their application.
DWL180A: Warning Light from Multiple Angles
Designed for discreet installation within vehicle grilles, the DWL180A combines an ultra-slim profile with a wide 180° beam angle. This wider coverage helps make the vehicle more noticeable to other road users without requiring a more prominent installation.
The DWL180A offers 20 selectable flash patterns in single-colour mode and 12 in dual-colour mode, including an R65-compliant first flash pattern. Pattern memory and a 50% steady-on function provide additional configuration flexibility. With an IP67 protection rating and ECE R10 and R65 TA1/TB1 certifications, it’s well suited to commercial vehicle warning light installations.
It’s a practical choice for applications where a neat, integrated finish matters alongside effective warning visibility.
DWL3A: Compact Size, Powerful Output
Need a warning light that fits into a tight space? The DWL3A features three LEDs in a compact housing, delivering a bright warning output without taking up unnecessary room.
Its three 3W LEDs and Fresnel lens deliver a high-intensity warning output, while the two-screw fixing allows for secure installation. The DWL3A offers 20 selectable flash patterns, with the first pattern meeting ECE R65 requirements. It also carries ECE R10 certification for electromagnetic compatibility and SAE J595 Class 1 certification, giving converters flexibility when specifying warning lights for different vehicle builds and operational requirements.
Its small footprint makes it suitable for a wide range of vehicle applications, particularly where installation space is restricted but effective warning lighting remains essential.
